For this project, I have created a performative work consisting of three main elements: five red blocks made of
epoxy resin with a vein-like texture, melting ice blocks shaped like a brain with added blue paint, and a video
documenting the melting process. The work explores the theme of separation in relationships between people.
The red blocks symbolize the fragile, often unseen connections in human relationships, with their vein-like
textures representing the complex, underlying emotional ties. The melting ice blocks evoke the gradual
dissolution of these connections, with the blue paint highlighting the transient nature of these bonds. The
performance aspect is captured in the video, which records the process of the ice melting, further emphasizing
the passage of time and the effects of natural processes on the sculptural objects.
